Bboxx, an African clean energy and digital products powerhouse, is taking customer service and operational efficiency to new heights through a collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The partnership brings generative AI (GenAI) to Bboxx Pulse®, its data-driven platform, making Bboxx one of the first African businesses to integrate GenAI solutions.

The AI integration offers transformative benefits, leveraging real-time data analysis to slash customer query response times by an average of 2.5 minutes. The time savings amount to a remarkable 5,000 customer service hours each month, streamlining operations and elevating customer satisfaction.

“This collaboration with AWS allows us to deliver better, faster, and more efficient service, ultimately enhancing the lives of our customers and driving operational excellence,” Bboxx CEO Anthony Osijo said.

Adding that Bboxx remains at the forefront of deploying cutting-edge technology for social impact and business growth.

Bboxx’s Pulse® Insights suite, which already uses credit scoring and behavioral analytics tools from 900,000 customer records, now incorporates AWS’s Generative AI Innovation Center expertise. The credit scoring integration has led to a 15 percent improvement in collections—a testament to the platform’s data-driven capabilities.
