NCBA Group has appointed Lina Higiro as the new Regional Director of Business Development, as announced on her LinkedIn account. Higiro has been the Chief Executive Officer of NCBA Rwanda since July 2018. Before joining NCBA, she served as COO of AB Bank Rwanda for 2 years.
During her tenure at NCBA Rwanda, Higiro led several key transformations. She spearheaded digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing digital banking services. From the outset of her role in 2020, she facilitated strategic partnerships and consistently built collaborations over the years. Her leadership was marked by a strong focus on a customer-centric approach and improved operational efficiencies.
Nicholas Musyoka, the Rwandan subsidiary’s long-standing CFO, will replace Higiro as acting CEO. Musyoka has been critical in the development and execution of NCBA Rwanda’s finance, administration, and strategy since its inception.
